He underwent physical, emotional, and sexual abuse in his early childhood; and though he's had six years by this point to cope with his trauma, situations of forced romantic or sexual contact might upset or otherwise trigger him. It's also worth just... bringing that up for player notice as well.

Ed hallucinates primarily in his visual and auditory senses. It likely won't come up often in RP, if at all, and if it does I'll have asked about it beforehand for any given thread. I do want to state with confidence that his hallucinations will not affect his comprehension of character speech. If he doesn't understand you, it won't be because he literally heard something different come out of your mouth!
